Munster Rugby Confirms Conor Murray Signing Ahead Of 2024-2025 Season
Veteran Conor Murray has extended his Munster Rugby contract ahead of the 2024-2025 season. He's a key figure in club and country, boasting 116 test caps.
Munster Rugby has confirmed that veteran scrumhalf Conor Murray has signed a one-year extension with the club.
The 34-year-old has been with the Irish province since making his debut in 2010. Since then, he has gone on to play 185 matches and score 34 tries.

On the international stage, Murray arguably is greatest scrumhalf in Ireland history with 116 test caps, and he has featured on three British and Irish Lions tours.
While now the second choice for Munster, Murray remains second choice for the Irish national team behind Leinster’s Jamison Gibson-Park.
Playing a key role as a calming influence toward the end of matches, Murray remains an integral part of both squads.
Throughout his career, Murray has been a key contributor to several famous Irish victories, including wins over the Springboks in Cape Town, defeating the All Blacks in Chicago, Dublin and New Zealand, as well as five Six Nations Championships, including two Grand Slams, being the highlights.
