The Men's College 7s rankings have been shaken up after Cal won its fifth straight Collegiate Rugby Championship this past weekend.
The Men's College 7s rankings have been shaken up after Cal won its fifth straight Collegiate Rugby Championship this past weekend.
A ton of weight gets applied to the USA Rugby Nationals and CRC games, with other tournaments used, too. Thankfully, Lindenwood and Saint Mary's competed in both and thus gave us enough context to move some teams around. With Life beating last week's top-ranked team, Lindenwood, and Life losing to Cal, we have to put the CRC champion Golden Bears at No. 1. Big movers are Indiana and Arkansas State, while Wisconsin and Army join the top 20. Penn State and Navy drop out of the rankings, and Arizona along with AIC slide out of the top 10.
