The marquee showcase of girls high school rugby talent from around the country is streaming live on FloRugby next month.

The 2018 Girls High School National Championships take place May 18-20 on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, and are split into high school club and single-school divisions, with each bracket taking place over two days.

Top contenders for the high school club competition (May 18-19) include the likes of Morris Rugby Club from New Jersey, some strong competition from within Tennessee, KC United, and more to be confirmed from the West Coast.

The single-school bracket will see teams play May 19-20, with the likes of Catholic Memorial and Divine Savior Holy Angels (both from Wisconsin), St. Joseph's Academy (Ohio), and Kahuku High School (Hawaii) slated to attend.

DSHA and St. Joe's won the single-school championship in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Champions from Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Oklahoma, New York, Indiana, and further afield are also expected to enter the national tournament.

On the first day of competition, the tournament entrants for each division will play in eight-team pool groups, followed by a quarterfinal and a semifinal (both games shortened to 44 minutes long). Then, on the second day, the final placement games will increase to 60 minutes long (thus allowing time for a 10-minute overtime if needed).
