FloRugby's summer of elite sevens includes a really compelling Premiership 7s tournament on July 27-28 with all 12 top English pro clubs in action.

Who should we watch out for later this month at Franklin’s Gardens in Northampton, England? Wasps are the defending champions, going 5-0 last year with pool play wins over Newcastle and Leicester, a quarterfinal defeat of Sale, a tight win over Exeter 21-17 in the semis, and a 31-12 defeat of the Newcastle Falcons in the final.

That final score was an almost carbon copy of the opening game for Wasps, a 31-10 defeat of the Falcons.

Exeter and Harlequins both lost close semifinals and will be thinking about getting to the final this year, while hosts Northampton Saints won the Bowl and will be looking for a stronger pool play effort at Franklin's Gardens.

The Saints and Wasps are in the same pool.

Each team plays two pool games, and the top two from each pool go into the Cup Quarterfinals. The bottom team in each pool goes into the Bowl Semis. Losers in the Cup QFs track to the Plate Semis, while the top four compete in the Cup Semis.
