Joe Schmidt has made quite a few changes to his side that was pummeled a week ago against England. Ten fresh faces enter the starting lineup for the Irish.

After last weekend's lousy performance at Twickenham, there are a number of World Cup spots up for the taking in this Ireland team.

It's an entirely new front row, with Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, and John Ryan replacing last week's incumbents. 

Workhorse James Ryan comes into the lineup in the second row with Iain Henderson, replacing Jean Kleyn. 

Fellow second-rower Tadhg Beirne moves to the back row for this matchup. Despite his height, Beirne is one of the world's best poachers at the breakdown. He is an underrated player who could do himself big favors with a good showing this weekend. 

Peter O'Mahony captains the team from his flanker position, with Leinster No. 8 Jack Conan filling in at the back of the scrum. 

Kieran Marmion takes over from Conor Murray at scrumhalf for this one. Marmion started at halfback in Ireland's victory over the All Blacks back in November. 

He will pair up with his Connacht teammate Jack Carty, who replaces Ross Byrne at first-receiver. This is a big chance for Carty to establish himself as Johnny Sexton's primary backup for the World Cup in Japan. 

Chris Farrell comes in at outside center and Will Addison will start at fullback, looking to take the place of 90-cap Rob Kearney.
