"It was really intense and nerve-wracking as well," he said. "The whole lead-up to everything but once we started playing we started getting our confidence back and by the end of it we felt really confident that we were going to make it."
Tough guy Hubert Buydens said his team is now targeting the opener against Italy first off.
"We've got lots of time before our first game, which really helps get things together," Buydens told reporters. "It's been going well and we're lucky we have another nine days to polish things off and hopefully have the best possible chance to win against the Italians."

"We've been essentially together for three or four months now and the core group of guys has been together for two years since [coach] Kingsley came onboard. We're just a really tight group so we're going to play hard for each other."
Keith spoke to the team identity, too.
"We've improved so much over the last eight weeks, ever since we got back into camp. We're still trying to clarify our roles and find accuracy. That's what we're working on into these last few weeks."
