The Guinness PRO14 returns this Friday with the start of Round 8. 

We'll see one game on Friday and another five on Saturday!

Here's the rundown:

Leinster vs Ulster

12/20 - Leinster v Ulster - 19:35

Both sitting atop the Conference A standings, Leinster (7-0) and Ulster (5-2) have both been in fine form this season. 

Following great outings both in the Heineken Cup the previous two weeks, these two sides should put on a clinic in this Irish derby when Ulster travel to Dublin. 

Zebre vs Benetton

12/21 - Zebre vs Benetton - 15:00

Each residing down in the basements of their respective conferences, these two Italian squads are in desperate need of a win. 

Zebre (1-6) will play hosts in this one to Benetton (2-5). It's been a sursprising drop off this year for Benetton, who were awesome a year ago in reaching the playoffs. 

Connacht vs Munster

12/21 - Connacht vs Munster - 17:15

It's been the year of the Irish thus far after the World Cup, with Irish teams dominant in both the PRO14 and in Europe. 

This matchup here between these two Irish teams is a clash of the top two squads in Conference B. Munster (5-2), will have to make the tough trip up to Galway, where Connacht (5-2) are always extremely tough. 

Dragons vs Scarlets

12/21 - Dragons vs Scarlets - 17:15

Scarlets (5-2) are in a very tight battle in Conference B for the three playoff spots, while Dragons (2-5) are looking to build upon their recent victory over Worcester in Europe. 

For Scarlets, a road win here against their fellow Welsh rivals is a must-have as we move into the heart of the season. 

Glasgow vs Edinburgh

12/21 - Glasgow Warriors vs Edinburgh - 17:45

Glasgow (3-4) have been up and down thus far in the PRO14, but a win on Saturday against their Scottish foes Edinburgh (5-2), they'll pull themselves back into the mix. 

Edinburgh have been in excellent form lately, going 6-1-1 across all competitions since Oct. 26. Tied up in a tight race at the top of Conference B, Edinburgh will be eager for a big result here. 

Ospreys vs Cardiff Blues

12/21 - Ospreys vs Cardiff Blues - 19:35

Neither of these Welsh teams have been very good this season, but Cardiff (3-4) do have a chance to pull themselves back to .500 in the PRO14 with a win in Swansea. 

Ospreys (1-6) have been awful to start the year, having also lost all four of their fixtures in the Heineken Champions Cup. They'd love to deliver their fans a win this weekend right before Christmas.
