Gilgronis Sign Aussie Superstar Adam Ashley-Cooper
The Austin Gilgronis are making headlines once again, as they sign Australian legend Adam Ashley-Cooper just before the 2020 season.

Just one day after the announcement the team had been sold and a new name was in play, the Austin Gilgronis have made yet another splash. This time, they're making headlines with the signing of one of the best players from the past decade, Australia's Adam Ashley-Cooper.
Following his fourth World Cup, the man with 12 World Cup tries is set to join the MLR after his international career came to an end in the autumn. The 35 year old has had one of the most decorated careers in international rugby, appearing 121 times for the Wallabies, ranking him third in Australia's history.
His incredible versatility has been a hallmark of his game. Ashley-Cooper has played everywhere from center to fullback to wing throughout his tenure, and figures to do the same here in Austin.
A big of a world traveler as well, Ashley-Cooper has played for the Brumbies and the Waratahs in Australia, for Bordeaux in France, and for the Kobe Steelers in Japan. He now embarks on a new adventure stateside to link up with his former Wallabies skills coach Mick Byrne and the Austin Gilgronis.
The move has Austin fans excited and eager to see the start of a new era after last year's rough season. Bridges have been repaired in the community, culture has changed, and now some real investment has been introduced. The Austin Gilgronis (we'll call them the AG's) could just be the surprise team of 2020.
