Both teams had some decent showings in pool play. Ireland's lone loss came to championship contender England in the second round in a hard fought contest. They will look to finish out the Autumn Nations Cup on a good note with a win over Scotland.

However, it won't be an easy task as Scotland comes into the bronze medal game after getting to rest up last week due to getting a forfeit from covid-stricken Fiji. So expect them to come in energized after getting an extended break.
